What game are you building?

A Rust mod called Agave’s Mod. We’ve added play-to-earn mechanics to the game so that players can earn real money by playing on our server.

Who’s behind the project?

Jared Tame is the project founder and is based in Austin, Texas. Follow @jmtame.

What is Rust?

Rust is a survival game developed by Facepunch Studios. They started in 2010, and today it’s a top 10 bestselling game on Steam.

Why should I buy an NFT?

The NFT will grant you the following:

• Fast access to the game server by using a Steam account we provide to you with Rust pre-loaded (no requirement to already have a copy of Rust, although you can use your own if you prefer)
• The NFT will be required to purchase any in-game upgrades which allows you to speed up the gameplay progression
• The future ability to convert your in-game resources to an Agave token will require the NFT

When is the NFT pre-sale?

Our pre-sale is happening soon. We will post updates on our Discord server as it gets closer. The first 100 people to be eligible for the whitelist must meet these conditions: (1) join our Discord and (2) play on our custom game server.

Do you have a whitepaper or roadmap?

Because the web3 space moves very fast, we’re not attaching ourselves to a rigid set of milestones this early. We think a detailed roadmap or whitepaper could prematurely lock us into certain paths that we might later discover aren’t optimal.

What we are committed to is building a fair player economy driven by the community. We’ll release more details as we develop conviction on the best path forward, but at the moment, this document is the best representation of what we’re trying to achieve.
